CD Release Party and Pre-Order announced!

We’d like to take this opportunity to cordially invite you to an evening of music at Charlottesville’s historic Paramount Theater on Friday, June 19th. Situated on the newly re-bricked Downtown Mall, the Paramount has played host to scores of legendary performers over the years (recently including musical idols of ours like Steve Earle, Ricky Scaggs and Ryan Adams). We’re honored to have the opportunity to take this historic stage in our hometown and we’d love to have you all share the ocassion with us.

Sons of Bill will be performing songs from our brand new album One Town Away which will be released to the public the following Tuesday, June 23rd, but you can get it at The Paramount a few days early. We will also be playing tons of old favorites from our repetoire, as well as inviting some good friends up to join us onstage. Tickets are available now from Starr Hill Presents or from the box office at The Paramount. Get ‘em while they’re hot.

You can also pre-order One Town Away now from our brand spankin’ new online store. The album will be available on iTunes and in finer record stores throughout the country on June 23rd, but you could have a copy delivered to your door by that very day if you pre-order it (for a discounted price of only $10) through us. All pre-ordered discs will also include a booklet signed by all five members of the band AND you’ll be automatically entered to win a signed Sons of Bill drum head. In addition to all those goodies, there is also an exclusive t-shirt available to anyone who uses the Sons of Bill online store between now and June 23rd. The shirt features an exclusive design, based on the album cover and will only be available in one limited edition run. T-shirts are on sale for $15, but you can get the shirt and the album together for only $22.

Looking forward, we’ve started filling our calendar for the summer touring season. We’ll be adding more shows in the next week or two, so keep an eye on the Tour Schedule for any new dates near you. Particularly of note: we will be rocking in Atlanta, Raleigh and Richmond respectively on the Thursday, Friday and Saturday following the release of One Town Away. If you can’t make it to The Paramount (or if you just can’t get enough) we hope to see you on one of those steamy southern evenings. That’s all for now.
